
The RN 7 is the major road that runs South from the capital Antananarivo, before swinging Southwest across the country to reach the coast at Toliara. The tour encompasses Antsirabe – a town in the central highlands known for its thermal springs, visits to Ranomafana, Ranohira and Isalo National Parks and finishes in the dry coastal area North of Tulear. A journey through southern Madagascar’s most diverse habitats, from rainforest to dry forest and coastal areas, offering great birdwatching opportunities. Discover endemic species such as Ground Rollers, Vangas, Asities and Couas, while exploring some of the island’s most spectacular natural landscapes.

Day 1: Arrival in Antananarivo and transfer to hotel
Day 2: travel to Antsirabe
Day 3: Antsirabe and surrounds
Day 4: Antsirabe – Ranomafana
Day 5: Ranomafana National Park.
Day 6: Ranomafana –via Anja park – Ranohira
Day 7: Ranohira - Isalo National Park
Day 8: Ranohira to Ifaty via Tulear
Day 9 – 10: Ifaty
Day 11: Return flight to Antananarivo
